Biometric residence permit

  What is biometric residence permit? Biometric residence permit is a card that contains personal data of the holder. It is issued to a person who has been granted a right to reside in the Republic of Slovenia. The biometric residence permit is an identification document, containing information about the holder, which can be used for identification purposes and for establishing his or her identity. The biometric residence permit is issued on condition that it will be used only by the person to whom it has been issued and in accordance with the Act on Aliens and Asylum Seekers (Official Gazette RS, no. 57/2008).
